This new search engine…oh, sorry: Engine For Finding Stuff on the Internet That Is Not a Replacement For Google (Everyone is calling it a replacement for Google and the developer has been repeatedly saying that it is not a search engine) launched last Friday.  So far, I can only think of funny things to ask it.  What is it good for in a day to day sense.  I know that people in certain fields will find it indispensable and I know that that is a good thing but is it really usefull for everyday users.  What interesting things have you found to ask it so far? 25 Things You Didn’t Know About Me (And Will Now Want to Forget)

Ok, everyone is doing it so I am going to create my list of 25 things that I have kept secret.  I don’t know if I am going to be able to figure out 25 things so I will do a few and make up the rest.  Can you figure out when I stop.

  1. I play the violin and played the piano for 4 years along side it
  2. I am lactose intolerant but love chocolate
  3. My favorite color is green
  4. My favorite food is Inari
  5. My favorite video game of all time is Unreal Tournament (1999 Game of the Year edition to be exact)
  6. I run Linux, Mac OSX Leopard, and Windows XP on my main computer (Macbook)
  7. I am obsessed with the name Buenos Aires
  8. I am a vegetarian
  9. I am subscribed to 16 podcasts and listen to every episode of every one of them
  10. I wish the person who came up with this list idea had made it 10 things instead of 25 because I am out of ideas to that is were I will stop

Steve Jobs is stepping down as Apple CEO until late June due to health issues -

Steve Jobs has made the announcement that he will step down as Apple CEO until late June.  This announcement comes after Jobs made the announcement last month that he was suffering from a hormone disorder and that was what was causing his massive weight loss but now it seems that there is more to that.  Steve Jobs is quoted in the article as saying that his health issues are “are more complex than I originally though.”
