On the heels of announcing its plans to bail on “Macworld Expo next year, Apple will be instead attending the more generic Consumer Electronics Show in 2010, according to sources familiar with the matter.”  This does not make very much sense to me.  Apple is all about getting as much attention as they can and Macworld was the perfect place to do it.  The reason the didn’t want to go to Macworld was to have even more hype about their products by having their own special announcement show and at CES, their product announcements could easily get lost with all the stuff going on.
